March 26, 2010 Dear Ms. Astro: I am an Aquarian born on 2/2/1948 at 7:30 AM in Berkshire County in North Adams, Mass. Could you please provide the answers to my following questions? 1. If I retire in the near future (2-3 years) will I have enough income to support my needs? 2. What will my bond be with my children? 3. How does my health look in the future? Thank you. Regards, David Dear David, I will start off by saying you have a complex natal horoscope so you might want to consider meeting with a professional astrologer who can explore it with you. You will be able to follow along as you have a natural disposition for absorbing, like a sponge, non-traditional methods for increasing your knowledge. You say you will likely retire within the coming 2-3 years. Although your chart is indicating a new start for you around 2013, it does not necessarily mean you will be 'retiring' from life. You are an ambitious individual with a strong need to make things better, to prove your value in life and the best way to accomplish this is by hard work. You have experienced many challenges during your lifetime but for you they were 'normal' so no big deal. The time is rapidly approaching when you will be able to express yourself in a new fashion - one that comes naturally to you, one that will be less stressful and more enjoyable for you. I find that 'natural talents' which are indicated in a person's chart are oft times placed on a back shelf as there is no driving force, no sense of challenge in order to pursue them. In your case, refer back to second sentence -your potentials are endless - from a spiritual leader, to a high profile astrologer, to an artist. Choice is yours to make. So, will you have enough income to support your needs depends upon what your needs are and how you've managed your earnings up until this point in time. If you do not feel 'ready' come 2013, you have other options you can pursue so please do not allow those natural talents you were blessed with go to waste. Since I have no way of verifying the time of birth you provided (from birth certificate? family bible? Town Clerk?), I am hesitant about exploring that area of your chart as just a few minutes off on birth time could alter sign on health house in your chart. I am guessing that as long as you let go of hurts, angers, and frustrations and as long as you have healthy outlets for all that high nervous energy that surrounds you, your health should be protected. My suggestion is that you take good care of yourself for chances are that if you do come down with some sort of health problem, doctors will be puzzled as to what is causing your problem. Your chart is indicating that you are one who has the need to be in control of situations so I am wondering why it is you allow the women in your life to take control as such actions can cause anger and frustrations to build up within your Being. I believe these comments can also be applied to your bond with your children. Sorry I can't be more precise David but as I said at the beginning, your chart is complex and full of contradictions so needs much more time with a professional in order to be explored in depth. Time to start your study of astrology so that you will better understand yourself and the others in your life. Have fun! Ms Astro February 26, 2010 Dear Ms Astro, My name is Susan. My birth date is 1/7/68; I was born in Charlotte, NC at 11:25 AM. Side note: I have always felt that I was not born at the right time - the right month, the right zodiac. I have the same birthday as my sister, she is 3 years older. My question is that I am feeling quite stuck in a rut lately and find myself desperately wanting to take a leap forward but I am not sure how to get there. Usually when this happens I move from one house to another and things start to move forward again. I am unable to do that at this time. The last 2 years I have grown leaps and bounds in spirituality, but I have moments where I either fall backwards, or just sit at a standstill unsure of which way to go. I have a love/hate thing with routines. I have to have them, but then sometimes I just want to shake things up. I am divorced, twice. Have not had a lot of luck in the romance department as far as finding "the one." I have two daughters. I have a lot of friends, but none of them are close friends that live anywhere near me, so I keep to myself. For this reason, I want to get out and be more social, and that is where I am finding myself resisting. I would appreciate any advice you could give me. Thank you so very much in advance. Susan Dear Susan, I had to smile when I read your 'side note' as the first thing that popped into my mind after reviewing your materials was that you are an island unto yourself. Your chart is indicating that you were born to be a high-profile individual who seems to have a natural talent for being a people gatherer. Yet, you do not feel all that comfortable when so many others are expecting you to do this or to do that for them. If such is the case, then in order to protect yourself, you listen to that little voice within your head that tells you to close the door so that she or he cannot get too close to you. There is that part of you (Capricorn Sun sign) that believes in the traditional aspects of society such as being a responsible individual, working hard to achieve your goals, and teaching others around you the meaning of realistic values. But there is that other part of you - the island unto yourself - which is not really interested in standard traditional values/teachings and may prefer the adage that a rolling stone gathers no moss. So you experience a conflict within yourself - do I or don't I?? Now for a quick astrology lesson. You were born with your natal Sun in Capricorn. As you grew older, your Sun was slowly progressing around your chart. Around the age of 13-14, it moved into the sign of Aquarius so you would have begun to explore new interests and perhaps displayed different personality traits which may likely have confused your family and friends. There would have been a more daring and out-going Susan surfacing - one who was more willing to take chances and one who found it much easier to run away if not happy with someone or something. Intuition, rather than common sense, would now help you in making decisions. And now, at this time in your life, your progressed Sun is preparing to enter the sign of Pisces so you are about to add more wisdom to your ever growing enlightenment. This can be a confusing time for you as you sense something is about to happen but you are not sure what it is. This transition from one sign into another takes approximately 3 years to complete. It is hard to let go of what you have been used to for such a long period of time and there may even be some (ungrounded) fears as to what lies ahead for you. But change is on its way and in order for it to arrive, you must make room in your life and for that to happen, you need to let go of values, things, people, and whatever else no longer plays a useful role in your life. You mentioned that during the past 2 years, you have grown by leaps and bounds in spirituality ... welcome to the realm of Pisces! I have some good news for you. You will find the transition you are about to make easier than you may have imagined as the timer of the zodiac is just now moving into the 7th house in your chart. For the past 15 years, Saturn, the timer, has been traveling through the lower half of your chart which is the area dealing with your personal world. Now that he is moving above the horizon in your chart, you will need to put your personal needs and desires aside for the time has now come for you to focus on your one-on-one encounters with others. Time to share, teach, and learn from one another so this will surely make it easier for you to become more socially involved which, in turn, will help you to expand your knowledge and outlook on life. Stop resisting the for-sure changes coming your way - the 'resisting' belongs to Aquarius which can be a very stubborn sign at times so movement into Pisces, a flexible sign, is surely a good thing for you. Whatever you decide and begin working on now will eventually lead to a high point in your life during 2017-2019 period. May it surpass even your wildest expectations!
