Dear Ms Astro,
My name is Susan. My birth date is 1/7/68; I was born in Charlotte, NC at 11:25 AM.
Side note: I have always felt that I was not born at the right time - the right month, the right zodiac. I have the same birthday as my sister, she is 3 years older.
My question is that I am feeling quite stuck in a rut lately and find myself desperately wanting to take a leap forward but I am not sure how to get there. Usually when this happens I move from one house to another and things start to move forward again. I am unable to do that at this time. The last 2 years I have grown leaps and bounds in spirituality, but I have moments where I either fall backwards, or just sit at a standstill unsure of which way to go. I have a love/hate thing with routines. I have to have them, but then sometimes I just want to shake things up.
I am divorced, twice. Have not had a lot of luck in the romance department as far as finding "the one." I have two daughters. I have a lot of friends, but none of them are close friends that live anywhere near me, so I keep to myself. For this reason, I want to get out and be more social, and that is where I am finding myself resisting.
I would appreciate any advice you could give me.

Dear Susan,
I had to smile when I read your 'side note' as the first thing that popped into my mind after reviewing your materials was that you are an island unto yourself. Your chart is indicating that you were born to be a high-profile individual who seems to have a natural talent for being a people gatherer. Yet, you do not feel all that comfortable when so many others are expecting you to do this or to do that for them. If such is the case, then in order to protect yourself, you listen to that little voice within your head that tells you to close the door so that she or he cannot get too close to you. There is that part of you (Capricorn Sun sign) that believes in the traditional aspects of society such as being a responsible individual, working hard to achieve your goals, and teaching others around you the meaning of realistic values. But there is that other part of you - the island unto yourself - which is not really interested in standard traditional values/teachings and may prefer the adage that a rolling stone gathers no moss. Dear Debra,
I will start off by saying that your question involves many aspects of your life - the type of question which requires more information than I presently have on hand. No matter, I will try my best to cover as many areas as possible.
You have your Sun in Leo, your Moon in Pisces, and your ascendant or rising sign in Cancer. When I total up the points in your chart, I am inclined to think you express yourself more so as a Cancer personality. You are very protective of those you love perhaps to the point of being overly protective. If so, then your loved ones might well experience you as being 'too controlling' which could result in love/hate relationships. Your only desire is to protect them and to care for them but somewhere in the recesses of your mind is a memory 'carry-over' from your childhood or a previous lifetime reminding you that the only way to achieve that is to set limits, to be strict with them, etc. If so, rebellion is displayed by the others in your life. Your updated chart is telling me that you have recently (within past two years) experienced a sense of loneliness which is somehow related to your child(ren) or a loved one. That period is about to fade out. This will lead to a period in which you will find yourself trying to decide how you wish to define yourself - how do you want to be known to your children, and personal as well as business associates. Changes are definitely indicated in your chart and the sense that such are coming probably began surfacing for you a few years ago. Was there a loss or big upheaval for you back then?
